Smart meter
A home environment monitor: ESP32 sensors feed a Raspberry Pi, which posts readings to a Rust REST backend and a React dashboard.
A team build with three parts: a bridge that reads temperature and CO₂ sensors over GPIO on an ESP32 and forwards them through a Raspberry Pi, a REST backend in Rust that stores readings in SQLite through Diesel, and a React and Tailwind frontend that shows each household’s metrics, such as average temperature and CO₂ saved.
I worked on the Rust backend.
